Описание фильма: The Chinese Connection ( Fist of Fury in Hong Kong) stars Bruce Lee in his second major film after The Big Boss. This film has excellent action scenes and a great story, although being dubbed and being released in 1972, some may consider the dubbing to be slightly cheesy. Nevertheless, it’s a film to definitely watch.
In the 1970s, six LONE WOLF AND CUB films were released in Japan, all directed by Kenji Misumi and centered on a mysterious samurai/assassin who roams the countryside looking for work while pushing his two-year-old son in a wooden baby cart. The films were never released in the until 1980 when, prompted by the popularity of “Shogun” on TV, director Robert Houston edited the first two LONE WOLF AND CUB films together, rewrote the dialogue, and commissioned a new electronic score by Mark Lindsay (of the Mamas and the Papas fame).
In 689 the Empress Wu Zetian is building a statue of Buddha for her inauguration as the first empress of China, under the objections and conspiracy of the other clans. When the engineer in charge of the project dies from spontaneous combustion, the workers are afraid since he removed the good luck charms from the main pillar. The Empress assigns her loyal assistant to release the exiled Detective Dee to investigate the mystery, which results in a mystic and epic adventure.
