Описание фильма: The Lottery Ticket and the Lucky Penny
There are four important characters in this Played by three Herbet Lom plays the parts of two identical twin trapeze artists, Terence de Marney is publicity agent/con-man Mike Bergen, and Phyllis Dixey is Penny, Mike's girlfriend. One day the trapeze twins buy a lottery ticket, and soon forget about it. Out of the blue, publicity agent Bergen is in the office when the lottery commission sends a letter to the twin whose name is registered with the ticket, and it proclaims that it is the winning ticket, worth a fortune. Publicity agent Bergen decides that he will have that fortune, and he tells his girlfriend Penny to seduce the brother who is named on the ticket, and discover where the ticket is and steal it from him. The twin brothers don't even know that they have the winning ticket, because Bergen will never give them the letter. Blonde and beautiful Penny quickly attaches herself to the brother whose name is on the winning ticket, and he falls for her like a ton of bricks. She tells him that she will be his 'Lucky Penny' and bring him good fortune. This leads to that and con man Bergen finally gets the winning Bergen gets the fortune and the twin brothers discover that they have been robbed. After years of searching they finally find the con man living the life of luxury with his girlfriend Penny, and they devise the perfect murder. While one of them is on the flying trapeze in front of hundreds at the circus, the other walks calmly up to the bistro where Bergen and Penny are enjoying their meal and calmly shoots Bergen and walks Of course there will be a court trial for the murder of Bergen, but if both brothers claim that they were on the trapeze at the time of the killing, and no one can identify which brother was the Which brother can the court punish for the crime?....
