Описание фильма: This sequel to "No Time For Seargents" is a typical Warner Brothers archives offering. The exterior packaging is OK, but there is no scene selection,language or closed captioning options. This 1958 black & white film runs 110 with no restoration. The quality of the transfer is decent overall, considering the age of the film, with good contrast and some slight imperfections. The audio is also good.
Andy Griffith is perfect for the starring role, supported by a fine cast of recognizable actors like Felicia Farr, Walter Matthua, Ray Danton, Claude Akins, and Joey Bishop, to name just a few. His typically laid-back country style of humor, wit, acuity, and sense of "fair play" are what makes this comedy about military life aboard ship work; he also gets to demonstrate his serious dramatic skills, which some have a tendency to overlook. Although it is not as funny, as "NTFS" it has some downright hysterical sequences in it, especially in the galley. If you liked "NTFS" you will probably enjoy this one as well. So, sit back, relax, laugh, and have a good time with Andy and the rest of the crew.
