Описание фильма: During a rainy day at a park, a young girl is murdered. The killer attempts to flee but is seen by various different people. During the prosecution the man accused is found guilty, however after been put behind bars two more girls are murdered. Leading people to assume he is innocent.
Duccio Tessari directs this interesting and gripping thriller. Here there is no black clad killer, no knife wielding maniac that we see in Giallo's from Dario Argento and Sergio Martino. This is more of a thriller without the killing. Some may find this style of story boring but I didn't. It had me hooked from the start as I kept second guessing what the climax would be.
Popular Austrian actor Helmut Berger plays Giorgio, a mysterious man who knows the girl who has been murdered but it is not explained until the end how he knows her. Then we have Giancarlo Sbragia as the man accused of the murder, Evelyn Stewart as his unfaithful wife and Silvano Tranquilli as the inspector.
Tessari keeps us guessing from the start, we have lots of affairs with Evelyn Stewart sleeping with her husbands lawyer, Berger starting an affair with the accused's daughter. Each person looks more and more guilty of the crime the more you look into each character.
All the kills take place off screen and there is very little blood. So people who like their gory deaths wont be interested in this film. The climax some people could say is a little dull but I liked it and I enjoyed the way the story all comes together.
Gianni Ferrio's music is decent but the pieces I really liked where the famous classical music used over some scenes and the opening titles.
Overall its well worth checking out.
