Описание фильма: Ouch. I don't know if that comes from the laughter that split my side or if it comes from the cringing of seeing single life so painfully realistically depicted. This is a gem of a short film. There is not a moment wasted nor a scene forgotten. This is tight, gripping, hilarious, touching, and achieves all of that in the span of 10 minutes.
The two lead actors are especially engaging. Rather than play up the comedic beats of each scene, they connect to the humanity of each moment, earning laughs with empathy rather than trying to steal laughs with obviousness. I've watched this a couple of times and the nuance they bring to their non-dialogue reactions and emotions is authentic and evocative. On the reverse side, all the secondary characters, especially the dates, snap and crackle with the humorous immediacy their screen time calls for.
If you need a break from whatever work is bogging you down or stress is filling you up, take the time to watch this. You will end up with a big smile on your face.
