Career Suicide features Gethard talking about his depression, his relationship with his wacky-but-well-intentioned therapist, and the times he considered killing himself. The show recently wrapped up a three-month run at New Yorks Lynn Redgrave Theater, and he returned to the city Feb. 11 to film the special.

Gethard got his start at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where comedy heavyweights including Amy Poehler and Kate McKinnon also made their name. He went on to host the public access show The Chris Gethard Show and the Beautiful/Anonymous podcast, and hes appeared in series including The Office and Broad City.
