Описание фильма: (SPOILER ALERT) As any ultra runner knows, there is more that can go wrong with a race than is likely to go right. Disl, the protagonist, faces just about everything going wrong that can go wrong. Injury. Inexperienced crew problems. Weather problems. Sometimes great achievement requires the unknowns get aligned, and when they don't it takes a superhuman struggle to make any progress at all. The inspiration in this story comes from watching a man batter himself against his own limits, arise victorious, and then rise again to face the arbitrary limits imposed by a mother nature hell bent on stopping him. This isn't a feel good inspirational story. It's goal isn't to pump one up with delusions. It is instead a fist to the gut that says sometimes, the only way to find your limit is to try something so audacious you fail. Which is a good thing because the one who reaches the limit achieves the hidden desire of all ultra to both know where the limit is, this time, and to know you have the balls to go right to the edge and fall over. That's way better insight than you get from just finishing a race.
